Continually reinforcing the scope of the project and the deliverables involved will certainly help your cause. And most of the time, sending over a document is simply not enough. Agencies and consultants really need to walk through the document point by point to ensure that the client understands what is, and is not to be delivered. Having the clients sign their initials on these bullet points and setting milestones for sign-off are all good practices. Yet, there never seems to be enough time for these type of scenarios and it can become very redundant. That’s part of the landscape though.
